When I purchased this hat, I thought it would make a cool prop for my portrait photos. So far nobody has been willing to put the hat on in a photo, so I decided it was time to “Share the Light” of the hat. This was taken in my photo studio (a.k.a. garage) and I used a simple black foam core board.
I did have to make sone minor adjustment in Lightroom. I turned down my black to negative 100. Without this adjustment, the image looked as if it was sitting on a black cardboard instead of the totally black image you see in the post.
